WHAT?! Officer Reilly?! Yes, he got demoted to Country Club security after his run-in with the Pirate Club (Issue 4, Brain Wash Escape Victims…coming next month in the archives), and yes, he’s still pissed. I’ve been planning on bringing this guy back in this very same capacity since he first appeared in Pirate Club way back in November 2004. As a kid, I remember when I realized security guards didn’t have the authority to do shit, and I had a lot of fun with them at the Mall and at the local gated community, Blackhawk.
So, will Pirate Club get too cocky as they face what they deem a “powerless nut-bag”, finding themselves in too hot of water? Stick around!
Also, thanks to the awesome John Allison for the nice shout-out on his super cool comic, Bad Machinery! He draws awesome comics with great art, great story, great characters, and he is man enough to do it every day, unlike some of us other poseurs out there (me). So go read Bad Machinery…chances are, you are already.

oh shit! Officer Punk-ass! Now you’ve got my location changed to ‘the edge of my seat’.
Keep your ass where it is, the next 30 pages will be pretty awesome. I would promise more, but that’s all I have written so far.
Thank god for John Allison! I’m a big fan of Pirate Club from the SLG days, and had no clue you were doing it as a web comic until I read his post. Just read through the archives, and it’s excellent stuff! I’ll definitely be following in the future.
Thanks, David! Yeah, I really appreciate any pimping I get. You’re not the first of the Bad Machinery readers to send me a note along these lines, so I’m glad to have some old fans back! Spread the word!
Will do! Would have caught on sooner, but I think I missed you at comic con last year. You may remember me, my friend Micah gave you a few pieces of fan art the last few times we’ve met.
I promise I would remember you if I saw a picture. I really love meeting all the fans at conventions. You are all burned into my brain like a welcomed infection.
