So, I have a movie recommendation for all you nerds out there. I know it’s an older movie, but anyone out there who is at least mildly amused by what I do here should see what a competent artist can do with similar material; I guess what I’m trying to say is, go rent “Son of Rambow”. I don’t mean to say it is in any way a rip-off of Pirate Club or anything like that, but if I were to wish for a Pirate Club movie, I would hope for a similar grasp of youthfulness, imagination, school yard mercilessness and a story with a whole lot of heart. Yes sir…go rent this great movie and enjoy a heart warming tale of rambunctious, disrespectful, willful and shit-faced darlings.
